It all started with Ultima Online, at least when it came to MMORPG gaming. Gaming itself started back on the Commodore 64, way back when I had to type in all the code myself just to play a game. Well, perhaps Pong was before that – we did have one but for me the Commodore was real magic!
Like many people, gaming has turned into a hobby for me. Some might go home and read, work on their car, do some gardening, play music, and a host of other things. Gaming, as in MMORPGs, are my hobby. I don’t play many, if any single player games but an Massive Multiple Online game? As you’ll see, I play – I love the people (and I hate the people) but I play….
I miss Ultima Online (UO), it was truly a virtual world and the people where simply incredible. Star Wars Galaxies (SWG) was next and like UO it has a place in my heart that shall never be lost. Sadly though, UO needs a face lift and most of the huge community that it had is gone. SWG – well, there is a long sorted history that got tangled into that game but no matter, it was closed down. I felt that day as if the “force” was real and a ripple was felt far and wide.Now days I search for a new home, someplace to have a virtual life again and so far, nothing comes close to UO or SWG but I try….
